Union Minister for Human Resource Kapil Sibal on Thursday said that Aakash vendor Datawind ‘is very much here’ and can bid for the Aakash 2 tender for procuring 50 lakh Aakash tablets, to be out in two months. The new tender will be for procuring about 50 lakh tablets, for distribution in colleges. “The tender will be handled by C-DoT and ITI,” said Sibal addressing the media.
