Apple VS Android : iOS 5 copied Android

Apple have been accusing Android of coping since a long time and has a lawsuit to prove against it.Business insider got some real shots to prove Apple’s new iOS 5 had many things from Android operating system.

Tabbed Browsing

Apple didn’t had tabbed browsing till last year.Android brought it in Honeycomb launched with Motorola Xoom tablet.Apple uses Safari browser and had them tabbed last year.

Split keyboard

Android users had this function to customize the on screen keyboard since a long time and now Apple does too.Apple got customized keyboard on ipad and makes it easier to type with on board keyboard.

Opening of Lock screen right into the apps

Android users had this function since a long time.If you used HTC devices then you would know what we are talking about.

Over the air updates

Android users always had over the air updates but Apple users had to sync it up with the laptop.Now in the newer version of operating system i.e iOS 5 it allows users to update it over the air.

Notification bar is on the top

Since android came out notifications were always on the top and now Apple’s iOS 5 has it too.Apple added this feature last year.
